Sunday will begin with a stroll along the 3 kilometers of sand and sparkles. Make your way up the to guardian lighthouse and feast your eyes to the breathtaking panoramic view of Bang Bao. Well-known as a Fishermen’s Village, besides well-known handmade souvenirs, the location has become a meeting point for snorkeling and diving alike. After a day of sightseeing, ease into the evening at Reef Bar as our friendly bartenders shake up some special cocktails. Dusit Princess Koh Chang’s signature restaurant, The Bay, provides the region’s freshest seafood while dining to a spectacular ocean view.
Monday morning glory begins Tai Chi on the beach to help the balancing of body, mind and soul. Followed by a healthy buffet breakfast. Then the long awaited ‘Auspicious Opening Ceremony’ set in Bailan Hall. Our 288 sqm-meeting rooms will be reverberating with the soothing chants of Monks as they shower their blessings to the new-found jewel. After the glorious ceremony, turn up the heat and get wild in the jungle. Unleash your animal instincts swinging from one tree to another by rope bridges like Tarzan the hunk or Jane the beautiful. French experts with well-designed rope structures ensure your climb is swift, graceful and most importantly safe. Fill up your hearty appetite from the jungle fever with a Traditional Coastal Luncheon, at The Bay. The afternoon promises sparkling splashes as we take to sea! Every room features feather bathrobe, slipper as well as television with satellite channels, DVD player and radio for the entertainment of guests. The resort offers a main restaurant and a bar for your convenience. The Bay Restaurant serves a hearty breakfast, easy and delicious lunches as well as a great selection for dinner. Watch out for special buffet nights and live cooking at the open kitchen. Reef Bar offers Happy Hours, wine promotions and special cocktails each month. The kitchen team presents private cooking classes, cocktail making, fruit carving and cooking demonstrations, and homemade breads and cakes are on sale daily. Thai Sala is the place for dinner under star filled skies and poolside dining. So from dinner for 2 – 150 guests the choice is yours just ask and we will do all we can to make it happen.
The Bay Restaurant
Dusit Princess Koh Chang’s The Bay combines great food and service in a beautiful setting overlooking the starfish shaped pool. The kitchen team headed by Sous Chef Jane serves international cuisine prepared by experienced chefs, with Thai favourites and Western specialities on the menu. Breakfasts are enjoyed from 6am as either buffet or a la carte, this makes for a great start to the day while taking in the view of the ocean. Lunch starts from 11am, a la carte. Watch out for weekend specials, like satay and burgers by the pool. Dinners are enjoyed a la carte, with wines to match, famous Thai beers, and the Bar team’s mocktail or cocktails of the month are not to be missed. Catch the most wonderful sunsets in Thailand, sipping on a freshly cracked young coconut or with your toes dipped in the pool. Being situated right next to the beach and pool means that guests can enjoy poolside dinners and Thai Sala dinners; both sure to impress the special one in your life.

Private beach
Bai Lan Beach is in the South of the island and face to the West. The beach is very private. There are just the hotel’s guests can access to the beach. This property is a quiet and peaceful place to relax.

Whether you like to swim laps seriously or just splash around, Dusit Princess Koh Chang has the best of both for you. One free-form swimming pool is 44m in length, perfect for laps, and the other is a stunning emerald green pool in a starfish shape. Located next to the beach this pool offers sun lounges, seaside Jacuzzis and pool bar service daily.

Location
Koh Chang is located in Trat which is Thailand’s eastern-most province, about 315 km from Bangkok. This small province borders on Cambodia with the Khao Banthat mountain range forming a natural demarcation. With 52 large and small offshore islands, long white sandy beaches and unspoiled coral reefs, Trat offers delightful scenery and a tranquil hideout for nature-lovers. The province also serves as a major fruit-growing and fishing area.
Getting to Koh Chang
By Air:
Bangkok Airways operates 3 flights daily which is approximately 45 minutes flight time from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Transportation for Bangkok Airways from Trat airport to all beaches is available at additional cost. For more information visit
By Car:
Approximately 315 km, or 4-5 hours drive from Bangkok head out of Bangkok on the Rama 9 Road onto the Motorway to Chonburi-Banbueng and turn left onto Banbueng- Klang- Chantaburi – Trat – Koh Chang.
Look for the Laem Ngob signboard at the Laem Ngob-Trat junction. Notice there is a PTT petrol station on your left just after a police checkpoint followed by another PTT station exactly 1 km away. This is the Laem Ngob-Trat junction. Turn right to Laem Ngob. This is Highway No. 3156 (Laem Ngob-Sahn Tung Road). You will reach Ao thammachat.
From Ao Thammachart which you will see is called Koh Chang Ferry. Here there is a regular car ferry service to the Ao Sapporat.
When you came off the ferry at the island, turn right and head for Bai Lan Bay. The resort is on the right hand side on Bai Lan Bay before Bang Bao Fisherman Village.
Ferry from Trat to Koh Chang:
At Trat we recommend starting of at “Koh Chang Ferry Pier” in Ao Thammachat which takes 30 minutes to arrive Koh Chang Island at Ao Sapparos Pier.
The ferry operates from 06:30 a.m. till 07:00 p.m. The ferry departs every ½ hour from November to April and on long weekends. However, it departs every 1 hour between May to September.
